Therapist Associate Supervised by a Licensed Clinician

Kathryn Polaski BA Therapist Associate at Makin Wellness, providing mental health counseling
You might be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply unsure of where to start—and that’s completely okay. Taking the first step toward therapy is a brave and meaningful choice, and I’m here to walk alongside you at your own pace.
I work with individuals of all ages, supporting you through life’s challenges—whether you’re managing daily stress, navigating a difficult transition, or working through deeper feelings of anxiety, depression, or abandonment. Whatever you’re carrying, this is a space for you to feel heard, understood, and supported.
Our work together will be tailored to you. Online therapy with me is collaborative, compassionate, and focused on your long-term growth and overall mental health. You can expect a calm, grounded presence in our sessions, and a structured yet flexible space to explore what matters most to you.
I draw from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), person-centered therapy, and mindfulness-based approaches to meet your needs—not with a one-size-fits-all model, but with a personalized approach built on trust and mutual respect. Clients often tell me they feel “safe, seen, and empowered” in our work together.
As a Therapist Associate, I am pursuing my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Commonwealth University of Pennsylvania. I am advancing my clinical training under the supervision of Tori Romberger, LPC, a senior licensed clinician at Makin Wellness. This ensures you receive both my dedicated support and the guidance of an experienced professional overseeing your care.
Online therapy is a partnership, and there’s no rush—we’ll move at a pace that feels right for you. When you’re ready, I invite you to reach out and book a session. This could be the start of something meaningful.
🔹 A bit about me
Outside of work, you’ll often find me playing piano, hiking a local trail, trying out a new restaurant, or baking something sweet to share.
