The cost of online therapy at Makin Wellness varies depending on factors such as the therapist’s qualifications and experience. The initial session costs $192.5 and ongoing sessions cost $165. We offer competitive and transparent pricing, and we recommend contacting our Care team for detailed information about the cost of our services.

We are currently in network with commercial UPMC , Highmark, Cigna, United Healthcare , Aetna, Optum, Anthem, Geisinger, CHIP, Tricare, Magellan, Medicaid, CCBO, CHIP, & WPEE insurance plans. We are also more than happy to verify your benefits and co pay before your visit ; just give us a call with your insurance card and ask for an insurance verification! After we talk to your insurance company, we will let you what your benefits are via your secure patient portal.

  2. Click “Pay Now”: Open the email, and click on the “Pay Now” button within the invoice. This will take you to the payment portal.

  3. Enter Credit Card Information: On the payment portal, you will have the option to securely enter your credit card information. Square is known for its robust security measures.

  4. Save Card for Future Payments: Once you’ve entered your credit card details, you’ll have the option to save the card for future payments. Simply check the box that says “Save this card for future payments.”

Please understand that there a small chance that there’s a discrepancy  between the copayment initially quoted and the actual copayment you encounter during your therapy sessions. Here’s why this can occur:

3. Exact Copayment Determination: We won’t have the exact copayment amount until we submit the claim to your insurance and receive the Explanation of Benefits (EOB) back from them. The EOB outlines the precise copayment for each session.

3. Contact Your Insurance: Reach out to your insurance provider to inquire about their specific process for submitting superbills. They may have a dedicated department or online portal for claims submission.

4. Complete Required Forms: Your insurance provider may require you to complete specific forms or provide additional documentation along with the superbill. Follow their instructions carefully.

5. Submit the Superbill: Send the completed superbill and any required documentation to your insurance provider through their preferred method, which could be mail, fax, or online submission.

All patient responsibility balances must be paid within 60 days. After 60 days, all delinquent accounts may be submitted to a collection agency. In order to help defray the cost of collection proceedings , a service charge is added to all accounts sent to collections.

Please Notice : Collection proceedings could result in legal action and could permanently damage your credit .

We bill your insurance company within 2 weeks of your visit at Makin Wellness. If you have any patient responsibility balance due, you will receive a bill in the mail. If you don’t respond to your bill after two billing cycles, we then will begin collection proceedings. If you are not financially able to pay your balance, we then may make payment arrangements.
